Week One!

Zdravo! (Hello!) I've already spent one week here, and it's gone by so quickly! As soon as I stepped out of the plane, my team hit the ground running. We spent a few days going over some orientation materials, getting accustomed to the language and culture but very quickly began our routine of what we will be doing every week.  A lot of what I will be doing every week is evangelism, and I had a very cool experience with my very first group I talked with. I met Boris and Daniello in a park in a very busy part of town. I started up a conversation, and found out they were both students here. As I continued talking with them, they both said that they were Orthodox, but by nationality alone. Daniello even said how he was wanting to get baptized, but only because he feels like it is what he is supposed to do culturally. As we began to share the Gospel with them, they seemed interested in what I had to say, but not ready for a change yet. Luckily, I am meeting back up with them tomorr...

Almost There!

Hello everyone! I am officially less than a week out from leaving for my summer mission trip to Eastern Europe, and the excitement is definitely setting in. It's crazy that the departure date is finally almost here! Over the next two months, I’ll be living in a new city working alongside local ministries, connecting with the community, and supporting outreach efforts throughout the city. This trip is a great opportunity to share the Gospel with people who desperately need it, and I would love to have you all along for the journey. I plan on using this blog to share regular updates, stories from the ground, photos, and prayer requests so you can see exactly what your support is doing.      Hello! Welcome to my newsletter! I am so incredibly grateful for your support and for your willingness to partner with me as I prepare to head to Eastern Europe this summer.
